The key members of JCP-Connect core team have a large complementary experience acquired in leading industrial companies within key competence areas of the company:
Jean-Charles POINT has a large management experience and expertise in the cable, wireless and fiber access areas, as well as in IP architectures for multimedia services, and has exercised the several key positions in the Industry prior to build-up JCP-C. He has been involved for more the 15 years in European and national initiatives (managing financed program participation in Thomson) like ACTS, Eureka, ITEA, IST, RIAM. Jean-Charles holds a MS degree and graduated as “civil engineer telecommunication” in FacultéPolytechnique, Mons, Belgium.
Michèle WILMET joined JCP-C in 2004 as Administrative Manager. Since then, she is deeply involved in the administrative and financial management tasks related to several EC FP6 & FP7 projects (Bread and Chorus in FP6, Chorus+, Diconet, MobiThin, Accordance, OASE, COMBO, CrowdRec in FP7) and recently in some H2020 projects (Forensor and Charisma)
Yaning LIU received her PhD in computer science from Telecom Bretagne in France and Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications in China respectively. She has more than 10 years’ experiences on network domains, including network measurements, peer-to-peer networks, video streaming, green network, and information centric networks.
Roman KAURSON has 12 years of project management experience and led a number R&D projects in the different ICT domains. Before joining JCP-C he obtained experience from industrial and research domain, worked in large electronics company (Elcoteq SE), where managed group of 13 product engineers. Later he moved to Orbis Oy to Project Manager position where developed and set-up project management system and was responsible for R&D projects in RF, cable and computer vision. He coordinated several FP7 projects (e.g. FP7 ACCORDANCE STREP, FP7 GiantSteps STREP, FP7 GameArch SA, FUSION SA) and contributed to number of projects as a Partner. He holds MSc degree in Telecommunications from Technical University of Tallinn, Estonia.
Kristaps DOBRAJS is a project manager and manages the administrative topics at JCP-C. He has considerable experience gained over the years in setting up EU and National project proposals and coordinating them once accepted by the relevant funding mechanisms. As well as managing the overall projects, Kristaps leads regulatory studies and the dissemination activities and their presentation at conferences, workshops, panels.
Sabera DJELTI holds a Master’s degree from the University of Rennes 1 (ESIR) in Embedded System Architecture. As software engineer she worked for open source Intel project enabling the multi-user feature in Tizen OS. She also worked on Miracast project, augmented reality glasses project. In JCP-C she sets up the environment, develops and integrates the features in the routers in C embedded linux.
Matthias SANDER FRIGAU received his Ph.D. degree from the School of Computer Science of the University of Manchester, United Kingdom, in 2016, and his M.Res. degree in Computer Science from the University of Montpellier II, France, in 2009. During his Ph.D. he has focused primarily on decentralized congestion control algorithms, multi-channel allocation and social-based routing protocols in cooperative vehicular networks. In 2014 he was appointed as a non-tenured lecturer at Aix-Marseille University, France, to teach information processing, algorithmic and web programming. In 2015, he joined JCP-C as a R&D engineer in mobile caching where he coordinates Eurostars CAMION EU project and is involved in several H2020 EU projects (Forensor, Refine) and FP7 projects (Charisma, COMBO). His research interests include wireless communications, networking management protocols, vehicular ad hoc networks, IoT, collaborative caching, security of wireless sensor networks, and SDN security topics. He is also a Member of the IEEE Vehicular Technology Society and conducted several peer-review activities for IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology and IEEE Vehicular Technology Conference.
Desislava YANKOVA has more than 8 years of experience as business analyst in diverse areas as ICT, banking and pharma. She has obtained Bachelor degree in Finance from UNSS University in Sofia, Bulgaria and eMBA from ESC Rennes School of Business, France. Her experience covers business modelling and management consulting, as well as market analysis and positioning. Desislava has also worked with series of academics on preparation of papers in the domain of strategy and management.
Zhe LI graduated in Telecommunication from the Tongji University, China. He received his Master diploma in 2009 and PhD in 2013 from TELECOM-Bretagne and University Rennes 1 of Computer Science in Rennes, France. During his Master and PhD study, he has worked on resource deployment in large scale distributed system, caching policies in Information Centric Networks, leveraging MapReduce framework to solve NP-hard problems such as Facility Location Problem, Set Cover problem, etc. He was a research engineer in INRIA Rennes, Bretagne-Atlantique, France. His research interests include mobile networks, future Internet, Information Centric Network, content delivery systems and distributed cloud systems.
