JCP-Connect is a French SME in the domain of content delivery, edge computing and virtualized functions for MEC.
Our software and hardware solutions are targeted at markets such as transport, events, smart cities and we work with a variety of clients – telecom and satellite operators, content providers, providers of WiFi connection for events, etc.
The company was founded in 2002 by Jean-Charles Point and despite its small size has participated in more than 25 publicly funded collaborative projects.
Jean-Charles Point has a large management experience and expertise in the cable, wireless and fiber access areas, as well as in IP architectures for multimedia services, and has exercised the several key positions in the Industry prior to build-up JCP-C. He has been involved for more the 15 years in European and national initiatives (managing financed program participation in Thomson) like ACTS, Eureka, ITEA, IST, RIAM. Jean-Charles holds a MS degree and graduated as “civil engineer telecommunication” in FacultéPolytechnique, Mons, Belgium.
Before his entrepreneurship experience, he worked as a software engineer, project manager at Dassault Aviation, and later as a consultant at Atos and in software companies.
Yvan is responsible for the operations management (COO) at JCP-Connect
Her experience covers business modelling and management consulting, as well as market analysis and positioning.
Desislava is also responsible for the financial management of JCP-Connect
Omar FALL is Linux system and kernel developer with more than 7 years of experience in diverse areas as telecommunication, automotive and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer). He has obtained Engineering degree in computer science major Embedded System from Engineering School at Rennes (ESIR) and extensive training in C++ and Computing graphics at Columbia University. Omar Fall has extensive knowledge of linux APIs and kernel, custom Linux distributions and very good knowledge of TCP/IP networking stack and wireless technologies
Dr. M. Sajid Mushtaq (PhD) is working as Research & Development Engineer at JCP-Connect. Earlier, he was Researcher & Lecturer at University Paris-Est Créteil (UPEC) France, and participated in various R&D projects. He has enhanced his research experience by contributing in European research projects, which cover a wide domain of network technologies i.e. Wired, WiFi, and cellular networks (LTE-A, 5G) for Over-the-Top, and IoT services. His research interests include 5G, LTE, Edge Caching, Radio Resource Management, C-RAN, Power Optimization, Machine Learning, Cloud Networks, SDN, Multi-homing, QoE, and QoS of heterogeneous networks.
Fabrice Dislaire is working as R&D Engineer at JCP-Connect. Before, he was working several years in telecommunication area for Philips/Cellon, and recently for Astellia/Exfo company.
He works on several projects starting with automation, testing automation, network behaviour analysis software, BI, web applications (web portal, data analysis and display …).
He has obtained a Master 2 degree (DESS) in computer science at University of Rennes (IFSIC).
Amel Arfaoui is a R&D security engineer who is responsible for JCP-Connect contributions in National and International IT projects (Cyber-Security, Edge Computing, Security Policies Enforcement and Compliance). She received a PhD degree in computer science (cyber-security) from the University of Burgundy, France in 2019 and an Engineering Diploma in ICT (Information and Communications Technology) from the Higher School of Telecommunication of Tunisia (Sup’Com, Tunisia) in 2016. Her research interests include adaptive security approaches in IoT, privacy preservation, game theory, anomaly detection, reinforcement learning, edge computing, CDN, and risk management. She published her work in major IEEE conferences (ICC, GLOBECOM) and premium journals (IEEE IoT journal, Computer Networks, Computers & Security).
Raj Vora is a Junior Software Developer at JCP-Connect and he is taking part in the development of the naviconnect solution… Before, Raj has been working in the IOT Domain Project in the Anep Company which gave him a deep knowledge about the Embedded System and IOT Device. During his studies, he’s been involved in several projects in the field of embedded systems. Raj holds a Master Degree in Embedded System Domain from Isep, Paris.
Elodie Girardet is project manager with specific skills in European project management.
She is mainly involved in the European project called NADINE.
After graduating with a master in European management, she has worked during 10
years in a consulting firm specialized in financing innovation projects at national and international level. Project proposal preparation, management and dissemination were part of the main activities she carried out.
